LA ROMANA
La Romana is located in the foothills of the Sierra del Redclot a few kms from Alguena. La Romana has been called ‘the Village of Pine Trees’, marble and excellent wine. The village is surrounded by lovely countryside where vineyards and almond orchards are grown. In September the ‘Paella in the Park’ is held when a giant paella post is set up outside and the locals take part in a fiesta. A popular area with ex-pats looking for a quiet rural home. La Romana has a school, local doctor, 2 small supermarkets, 3 bakers, 3 butchers, bars and a large furniture store. The street market is on a Saturday morning. There is a community swimming pool that opens during the Summer months. The nearest golf course is Alenda (a 20 min drive away) and Alicante airport is about 40 kms away.
Another restoration property of 90 sq mtr build on a 2.600 sq mtr plot which adjoins a made up road. Electricity is 50 mts away from the plot.
