If you're on a limited budget and are a bit of a DIYer/builder/architect with heaps of enthusiasm and above all creativity then this little gem could be for you. It looks out onto open country side which is not on the council plan for development and since they have promised to develop more they could possibly do in a mere mortal's life time even if your name is Methuselah, that will probably stick. But far from being in the wilderness the house is actually at the end of a civilised street and the bus stop or more importantly the pub is at the bottom of the road where the mail boxes are as no postal service as yet to that area, so plenty of opportunity to keep a vigilant check for any incoming letters. You'd have no shortage of daily vitamin C dose to fuel your renovation tasks as the plot of 1000m2 has a wide variety of fruit trees: fig, plum, olive, almond, prickly pears etc. Plus a dose of good luck afforded by the palm trees to the front entrance as dictated by local tradition. If you exploited the huge 30m2 roofed terrace you could expand the build without planning permission. In the unlikely event that you had any free time to fritter, the beach is 15 minutes away by car and the town at 5 minutes
