RUTE INFORMATION

Rute is in the heart of the Subbética and is situated midway between Córdoba and Malaga on a main tourist route. There are two areas of the town, the alto or upper area and the bajo which is the lower area. Rute is renowned for the production of Anis and also the famous Galleros cakes. It is a popular tourist area for Spanish people who visit the various food and alcohol museums.
